Verified Reviewer |Battery won’t charge
Hello,
I bought a Greenworks drill and two battery set from Home Depot a while ago. One battery works okay but the other is completely dead and wont charge at all.
I only noticed this when I went to change out the battery, even though I had the battery on charge for at least 4 hours, the battery did not charge and when pressed, the button for checking the battery strength does not indicate any green bars.
What can I do to get this battery repaired/replaced? Home Depot referred me to contact Greenworks direct with this issue.

I just bought, directly from the company Greenworks, a cordless snow shovel 80V with charger and battery. Because I am not satisfied with this product, few days later, Ive tried to return it by Purolator as I received the product from Purolator.
Oh surprise, it is IMPOSSIBLE.. because of the LITHIUM BATTERY as described on the original box which is considered as a DANGEROUS product. Wow. This company should at least mention on their website that a big lithium battery cannot be returned because it is such a big issue or, at least, give more information about it.
Of course, I called them and they only told me to remove the battery from the box, return the product with the charger and keep the battery. The problem is, even without the battery that I dont need, I dont want and have to sell later, I have to pay around 100$ for shipping this big box in Ontario (from Quebec) with Purolator + 10% to be charged by Greenworks for handling and restocking fee as mentioned of their website. It doesnt make sense to let the customer pay all those incredible charges with so confused and missing information when we order.
This is a really bad - first and last - experience with this company who doesnt care about customer service. I strongly suggest to buy from a local store where you can easily return the product without any charges like this.

Love the products, hate the customer service
I love the products, I've had a blower, chainsaw, and pressure washer. I was in the market for a mower and trimmer and bought both online.
However, after the purchase, I realized I ordered the wrong mower. I immediately within minutes wrote an email to cancel the order stating the mistake then called the next morning to verify the order was cancelled. Despite an email and multiple phone calls, the order still shipped and now I am still without a mower and am battling my through my credit card company to resolve.
Products are great, customer service is horrible!!! Went from being a loyal customer to hating your company!!!

TOTAL SCAM RETURN POLICY AND PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
Terrible return policy, Can return order after 50 min of placing the order, by tracking the order status online it said order not fulfilled or shipped yet ( It's just 50 min ) !!! Customer service said we can not help you.
then the only option is to receive the item then return it , and the shipping cost will be on me , they also are NOT able to provide me with how much it will cost to ship it back to them !!! the reason why I requested to return the item as they mis-discriped the item on the HeadTitle, did not specify if the mower is self propelled or Push, then by digging deep in the manual after looking around , found its PUSH and not self propelled. although similar models are well described. it seems they intentionally trying to mislead you and deceive you with their return policy.
TOTAL SCAM. VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE
And eventually they refused to post this review on their website

I purchased a greenworks weed whacker and leaf blower combo for $229 in July 2021. The weed whacker head is extremely poor design and quit working soon after
purchase.
I have called and reached out several times for help with ordering a replacement head part. Greenworks says they aren't making the part anymore and to check Lowes but use Kobalt as the brand as they manufacture for them as well. That part is also not available so I am stuck with a weed whacker that is no longer working. Why sell a
product and not have replacement parts available?
There are newer models out with similar parts so why can this not be resolved? I have viewed many other consumer complaints with the same problem.
I do not believe this is a fair practice. My model is ST60B02 and the SN:GWZ329****.

You need to have receipt for proof of purchase but Greenworks warranties the battery for four years. You need to contact them.
